Recipient Groups on the template level
Currently recipient groups are set on a document level and not a template level. Having them at a template level would lead to an expedited experience for end users who already know they need recipient groups before creating the document. Also would help in the sense that it could be utilized in bulk send.
Hi there – I'm happy to share that recipient groups can now be pre-assigned in templates. To learn more, please visit our Help Center.

Hi Team. Can Recipient Groups exist outside of the templates as well? ie can we please save a recipient group in Contacts?
What happens now, is I can create a recipient group for 1 template. But I then have to create the same recipient group for every template I create that follows the same approval process.
For example, all sales docs must be approved by Legal prior to issuing to a client. I have to create the same legal approval group for each template.
If we have a staff change. I now have to update every approval group in each individual template I have ever created. If I can just have a recipient group in Contacts, which when I update, will update all templates which includes this recipient group. That would be excellent.

This would be very helpful! It would also be good to have recipient group templates so document creators could select a group instead of selecting the same users on different documents. For example, I would set up an SVP recipient group template with 5 users and then creators could select this group in a new document instead of creating the same group each time a document is created.

Surprised there's not more upvotes for this. Being able to set default signer groups on a template level should be a basic feature!
