Enable and manage approval workflow on the document level
enable and manage approval workflow on document level instead of having to set this on the template level.

Right now if approvals are for whatever reason toggled off for the document generated from a template that includes an approval workflow, they can never be turned back on. You have to recreate the entire document from the template and lose all edits and variables. Example case:
Document is generated from a templates, variables are filled, it is sent for approval.
Customer receives and needs to make a small change that doesn't need approval (updated email, address correction, etc).
Minor change is made, approvals are turned off, document is sent straight back to customer for signature.
Customer comes back with another change that DOES require approval (quantity increase, change in product lineup, etc).
We cannot turn approvals back on for this document now, and it needs to be recreated from scratch.Ideally we'd be able to turn approvals back on for the document at this point, so this major change could be approved.

The lack of this ability is very cumbersome. Sometimes we need to make edits that don't need approval again, so it gets turned off. Sometimes another larger edit comes through that does need approval, and then we can no longer turn it back on for the document - it gets completely disconnected from the original template (that DID and STILL DOES have approvals enabled). Then we're forced to create an entirely new document losing all history associated, which is frustrating and can make it hard to follow an audit trail for specific contracts if new versions had to be created.
