Make Variable Field Type Boxes Expandable
I have to type a paragraph or more into some variable fields each time I send an estimate. I realize that there are other text field options, but variable was used on purpose for formatting reasons. Please make the text box expandable so that I dont have to select and scroll back through the text each time I need to edit, its a nightmare!

Variables contain formulas: variable calculations
Calculate variable values based on math and text operations: use other variables, plain text, numbers, pricing table, and quote values to get to a new value.
Some examples would be
1. Generate document name variable based on template name, customer company name, deal value and expiration date.
2. Generate text based on a list of items a customer selects in a form, pricing table, quote or fields.
3. Calculate a downpayment size using document value and a custom multiplier.
4. Generate a new date based on a date in another fields or variable by adding a number of days/months to…152 votesHi. We aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. Please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

I can't copy the text I entered in a field
It'll be easier if I can copy and paste what I entered into the text field so because drag and drop duplicated field may not always be easy.

Field Validation in forms
Client wants to ensure if the information entered into the form is the right one - e.g. emial field is filled with an email, name field is filled with name etc.

Variables with empty values in CRM: replace Variables values if they're left blank. If the token has no value it will show as blank.
If the variable value is empty in CRM pull the empty value instead of displaying the variable.
Avoid yellow fields in the document if the value is empty in CRM.21 votes -

Add a dynamic date field to put on templates
- Be sure to not have to change the date manually before generating a document via a template.
