Trigger Approvals based on if a section is edited
Have the ability to say, "if this section (pricing table, text, page, etc.) is edited, then this document should go off for manager approval". The user should be warned when clicking into one of these sections that any edits will trigger an approval.

Override Approval: vacation setting (Allow Admins to force approve or reject document approvals) [WORKAROUND PROVIDED]
Do you have to assign someone else to approve proposals while you're temporarily out / on vacation?
Let us know how important this feature is to you.105 votes[WORKAROUND]
Hi all!
I’m happy to announce that you can now edit an approval workflow at the document level, whenever a document is in draft status. This change could help you in case an original approver is unavailable to perform the action (maybe they’re on vacation) and you need to change the approver without disrupting the approval process. Here are a few benefits of this new feature: An account admin/manager no longer has to change an approval workflow at the template level A document creator doesn’t need to create a new version of a document once its approval workflow has been changed Making a change to an approval workflow is quick and easy, saving a ton of time and effort for everyone involved Read this Help Center article to learn more about how it works: https://support.pandadoc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016122334#h_01F2H326V6QVFDF0D8S2VPCE9Z

Approvers outside of PandaDoc
Approvers should be like signers, so that they do not take up a license in the system. In this case this approver/director is outside of the HR department and should only have access to the documents that are sent to them. It would be preferred if they did not have to log into the system to approve a document. Hope this make sense.

The option to skip an approver if needed.
I would like to set up two approvers on all my templates - first our head of sales and then second our CEO. Would it be possible to somehow make sure that the 1st approver doesn't need to approve the document again if the CEO makes an edit on it?
So, if the document is approved by CEO, the sales rep won't need to approve but if the sales rep approves it, CEO will still need to approve it.

Bypass approval workflow if no edits made (of just small ones, not related to pricing etc.)
Customers need to go through the approval process every time they edit the document - which is inconvenient and creates a bottle neck when they're editing for small reasons (i.e. not pricing or discount or terms related).
It would be nice to pin approval workflows to specific blocks, or define a way to bypass for edits.

Dashboard Approval
Separate Approved from To Be Approved within Dashboard- It's misleading, because it says "For approval" on the Dashboard and in the filters on the Documents screen. Docs pending approval are more important than docs that are already approved as far as setting priorities.

Require opportunity approval in order to allow a user to send a document
Salesforce integration - Would like to deactivate the "create document" button in the iframe until the opportunity is approved in salesforce (not closed won). Once opp is approved, then the document creator has access to create and send the Pandadoc. Alternatively, allow document creation but restrict sending until opp is approved in salesforce. Customer does not want the document to be sent out at all (even internally) unless opp is approved first.
