Redirect recipient to a custom URL upon completion
Ability to redirect a recipient to a custom URL when they complete a document.
Great news – redirect after completion is now available for all business and enterprise customers 🎉
With this feature, you can specify a redirect URL in any template or document for your signers. Once turned on, it seamlessly directs the signer to the chosen URL after they finish the signing process. To learn more, simply watch this video or visit our Help Center.
We'd love your feedback!

Redirect to a website once the document is completed

Absolutely needed. Would be auto-emailed out, once completion it would redirect to our onboarding funnel. Please build QUICKLY!

This would be great to use with PandaDoc, especially since we've already used the same feature with a competitor in the past. In short, when the document has been signed we would redirect the client to a landing page on our website so they can continue to the next step of the process. This helped move things along, eliminating friction, and promoting an efficient process.

Hi,
Ideally, you should be able to configure a different redirect URL for each signatory. After the signatory signed the document, he should be automatically redirected (without any action performed other than completing the signature process) to the return URL that was given for the current signatory when the document was submitted for signature.

Hi,Â
thanks for following up on this. I'm using PandaDoc as part of my sales process in a niche which is a mix of B2B and B2C.Therefore, I need the sales process to be at least semi-automated and seamless as much as possible.I use PandaDoc to send detailed price quotes to my prospective customers along with other details about the company detailing why they should use our services. They have the option to accept our quote. Later, we require their full company details to plan the service. Redirecting them to a custom URL would allow us to, for example, show them a video with the explanation of what is going to happen next, a reminder of how exactly our services are conducted, and then a form in which they should provide us with their company details. In theory, it could all be done in one document, but there are three reasons for which I'd like to have it as a redirection to a different url:Requiring the customers to put down too many details in forms before accepting the quote will likely make them defer the acceptance, because they might notÂ
have the time to put it down right there and then, which will likely make some customers forget about the process altogether or just prolong the sales process unnecessarilyYour forms are not particularly responsive and can be cumbersome to work with on mobile devices — it'd be better to redirect customers to a form that is easier to use, which will, in turn,Â
result in higher form completion ratesYour forms are also not particularly well integrated with external data storages. Getting the information put down in forms was not possible to do in an automated way, last time I checked.
The benefits of using a form that allows for that are rather obvious. Also, in order to facilitate automating the automating process I'd need to have the pandaDoc id of the document the user was redirected from appended as a parameter in the url.Â
Do you think that'd be possible?
If you need any additional information, I'll be happy to help. -

This is great! Our clients will complete a disclosure notice and then be redirected to a training video.

Docusign allows us to do this which is critical for our operation and the amount of Documents we send out.

Agree with the majority here. Pretty basic fxn, and has huge impact for clients in terms of experience post signautre. Would propose you move this up in the roadmap if this hasnt been already.

This would reduce friction in a very meaningful way for our processes. Eagerly awaiting this feature.

This feature is critical for us. A redirect allows any company to control the experience of the sales process and ensure it all ties together vs sitting fragmented. We would use a redirect link to pop the user into our onboarding flow or to collect payment method information (since Pandadoc only supports credit card details but not bank account). Without this, the process has more friction as we have to resort to sending the user an email with a link to begin the next step in the process.

I assumed this would have been a feature and probably would not have signed our contract had I known this was not a feature. Very disappointed.

Been waiting for this feature for about 2 years now. Would love to switch to Pandadoc, but can't use it without the basic redirect feature. It would be great if it had conditional redirects based on fields, but honestly all we need is the bare minimum...

I opened this account thinking this was a feature. I have no use for the account without it.

This is critical to our onboarding process for new clients. This is possible in other solutions we've tested (Docusign) but we'd rather not move if this is coming to Pandadoc anytime soon?
