Pass images from CRMs to documents using tokens/variables
ability to make images as dynamic field or as a variable
Hi. Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing your perspective. While we currently donāt offer this feature, we made some improvements to our product that may help you cover those scenarios namely:
- You can use Conditional Content to pass images as variables. Please see more here.
- Passing images is also available via Pricing table or Quote Builder. Check this link for more info.
If you need help with the set up, please feel free to reach out to our Support team for assistance!Ā
We hope these releases can help you. If not, please keep upvoting this idea, so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

Bump this thread. It would be nice to be able to pull in images files from a CRM field or even a URL of an image or a video to put inside a content block. For me I would want to pull the information from my CRM Insightly and I already have image fields called Property Map and would like to be able to select an image block in PandaDoc and set the variable to [Opportunity.PropertyMap]

Is it possible to create variable buttons? I've added buttons in my document. But I want to make sure they are clickable when sent to my client. Is it possible to have the buttons as variables?

WOW. This request is already from 2020!!
I just requested the same (26 jan 2023...).
Have this implemented, guys.
Having these photos included is very important evidence in case of liabilities and legal cases.
Not as attachments, but visible at the location in the form where I want them to have.I canāt imagine I am the only one who would like to see that variable and I think it isnāt difficult for PandaDocās development team to have that implemented. Pretty straightforward stuff, I think.
Like a variable āPlace imageā:
1) Click on a āplace imageā variable and select from photos on an iPad or so
And/or
2) Click on a āplace imageā variable, get a selection screen
a) āFrom your photos library"
b) "choose file (jpg, png) from your deviceā (this option is different from photo library, since jpg files could be saved somewhere outside the photo library)
c) āOpen cameraā (and user makes a photo and photo will be inserted)Number 1 would be great. Number 2 (a, b and c) would be absolutely fantastic.

I am wanting to store an image in Dynamics in a field in an Opportunity entity. Am I able to use a token or a custom variable to pull this image into a PandaDoc?
I am wanting to swap an image out depending on the value in a field.

Logo to be pulled into the PandaDoc from HubSpot
Maybe as a token?Example- when in HubSpot you add company domain- automatically a logo is pulled.
Allow that logo to be transfered to the document in PandaDoc from HubSpot.
