Signature timestamp: Autofill the date field / variable with the date of signing the document (Today's Date system variable)

Auto-populate the date field / variable based on the date the document is signed.

New Date Variable: Signature Date

    This is such a fundamental feature. It needs to be added or we need a workaround ASAP.

    I also really like this idea. Being able to use a Document.SendDate in a document that is updated on sending, makes it easier to distinguish differente revisions of the samen document (for example after processing feedback of a client).

    First time PD user after years of DocuSign, can't believe I have to ask customers to fill in a date field and it can't stamp automatically at time of signature.... please add this feature!

    There should be an option to prepopulate of signature date field with a non-editable feature

    Surprised this is not a standard feature given that you can do it in all other electronic signature solutions.

    System variable with the date signed by each role should be standard and not require a feature request. Please implement immediately.

    A system variable for "today's date" -- populates on load of the doc. if multiple signers, it populates on each load of the doc.

    Surprise to see this is not a default, more work for the customer that nothing prepopulates but they have to write and select dates and company names across the contract. DocuSign has it and PandaDoc should have it too. Its a must have.

    Should be more system variables
    - variable for the date when the document was signed/sent
    - variable for the date when the document was saved last time (use-case that would be useful because currenty I am using Document Created Date and sometimes it takes me weeks to create a proposal. Then I send it to the client and it has a weeks old date. I would rather display the date I saved the doc)

    Yes please! Docusign does this without issue. I would think it would be very easy...
