Hi. We aren’t planning on building this into our feature set at this point in time since it doesn’t fit into our current product roadmap. Please keep upvoting this idea so we can keep considering it every time we work on our roadmap.

An error occurred while saving the comment API call that will change the document status from Sent/Viewed/Completed to Draft similar to the option below:
We have the option in PandaDoc to edit the sent document manually (https://support.pandadoc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042659113-Edit-sent-documents), so the document status will become Draft. -

For example, you have the custom variable named Registration number and you would like to have the option to let your client fill in that info on the authorization form when they opened your form, so the information will be auto-populated into that custom variable in your document.
