If a customer answers Yes/No to a question and a supporting document upload is required based on that answer. The document can't be submitted until they have uploaded that document.
Also if there is a question and you ask a customer to either upload Document Type A or Document Type B, an either or situation. The document can't be submitted until they have uploaded at least one of those documents.
Ex. Please upload one of the supporting documents types below:
Document Type A <Upload>
Document Type B <Upload> -

This would also be particularly useful for onboarding documents.

Absolute need! Is it going to be available anytime soon? The forms we created are not as user friendly as they could be due to lack of this functionality.

Sample use case:
"I have a field that asks how will you be paying for today's visit? if they select insurance, I wanted it to prompt them to upload their insurance card. If self-pay then that insurance upload field should be optional" -

If a box is checked or a drop-down value is selected for example: Approved or not Approved, then the document is forwarded to different e-mails (Signers)
Ex: A refund request sent to the manager with 2 checkboxes: Approved and not approved - If he checks approved the document is forwarded to the Account manager if he checks not approved the document goes back to customer service

I agree with all of the below, plus, the ability to make dependent fields required/not required based on controlling field's answer

if a box is checked (or a drop down menu is selected for Yes), then a signature is required. If the box is not checked (or the drop down menu is selected for No) then no signature is required.

Really need! DocuSign had this and we used often to help guide users through our more cumbersome sales agreements, and for some HR docs with multiple fields that we send to new hires.

My firm specifically wants this feature for payment forms. A drop-down field for payment method with the choices, "ACH," or "Credit/Debit." By choosing "ACH," only the relevant fields for electronic check payment will be required. Vice versa for Credit/Debit.
The ability to hide/unhide fields along with required/not required would also be great, but it is very important to us to provide our clients the option to choose payment method, and also be able to require specific fields. We have run into many issues with our clients either skipping fields, or the payment form entirely, since I am unable to make any of the fields required.
Thank you for implementing conditional logic as soon as you can!

Allow users the ability to validate a series of checkboxes to make at least one in the series required. For example. A client wants recipients to select at least one checkbox to identify their race.

So, we have Premier & Elite Retailers. The idea would be to have a check box or dropdown where client selects the option that corresponds to them, and then pandadoc populates the information required for that options

Allow dropdown boxes to alter the content of other dropdown boxes or blocks, making documents and forms more dynamic.
An example of this is a registration form for Internet services at a complex. The first dropdown box will allow the recipient to select the complex they are registering Internet services at, which will alter the content of the āUnitā dropdown box which has the complexās unit numbers pre-populated.

From client:
I have a question on if PandaDoc templates have a certain type of functionality.
Curious if PD has the ability to use some fashion of conditional logic, specifically around if a customer or rep selects an option, can we then set a subsequent field to not be required. The idea here is that if we select "No" for Purchase Order required, can we then have the PO Number field requirement be toggled off?
Appreciate any feedback you have on this one.
