Allow user to pass document validity period from Salesforce
We have to set the quote validity on the document so the customer is aware. We have a standard document expiration time on our templates. However, the salesperson can change the validity as the need arises. So if they change it from the standard, the validity promised to the customer and the validity on the document will not be consistent.
We try to limit the number of changes a salesperson has to make on a PandaDoc document once generated, to help save them time. Asking them to remember to change the document validity on the PandaDoc document does not work…

API Standardized Naming for "Collect Files" Option

These names often lack a standardized naming convention, which can appear unprofessional. We suggest either implementing a standardized naming format for these files or providing an option to attach files without displaying their names or details on the completed document.

Currently, the API defaults to a single reminder for sent documents. It would be highly beneficial to allow customization of the number of reminders within the template settings. To have the option to customize the repeat reminder for bulk send. Currently, it can only be set to every 3 days or every week. The customer would like to customize the number of days like for example to be able to set it to 30 days.

Fix PandaDoc HubSpot integration to match update HubSpot Object Merge - Jan 2025
When HubSpot updated merge functionality in Jan 2025 (including Contacts and Companies, refer: https://developers.hubspot.com/changelog/updated-merge-functionality-for-crm-objects-including-contacts-and-companies) it broke the mapping between Contact and Company objects, and their associated PandaDoc documents.
Problem: When a PandaDoc document is created from a HubSpot Contact or Company, the HubSpot Object ID as added to the PandaDoc document metadata. Under the updated HubSpot object merge, Contacts and Companies are allocated a new Object ID. Therefore, when two HubSpot contact or company records are merged and then viewed in HubSpot, the associated PandaDoc documents for the two merge objects, do not appear on the new object PandaDoc…
