Prevent requestor self-approval when submitting forms/templates/documents
Currently, if a requestor is also listed as an approver, PandaDoc allows them to sign or approve a document at the time of submission. This behavior effectively bypasses the approval workflow.
This creates a security and compliance risk, since it allows someone to self-approve their own submissions. In regulated or audited environments, this violates separation of duties principles and undermines the integrity of approval processes.

When a custom property in a CRM changes automatically create a document
When a custom property in HubSpot is updated, automatically generate and send a document to the client. For example, if a customer chooses to pay via invoice and the payment method property in HubSpot is changed to ‘Invoice,’ the automation would create a credit application form and send it to the client automatically.

Too many clicks to content center & going backwards to a content center folder doesn't work anymore
The change of moving content center into templates created MANY more clicks to edit content center items. If you have a well organized content center with 3 folders to a specific item, It takes up to 5 clicks to get into it initially, then if you have to edit many items in the same folder the top left hand folder hierarchy (image below) it kicks you ALL the way to the beginning.
So if I have to edit 5 items in the library in the same folder I have to click content center THEN root folder THEN sub folder THEN…

Ability to View Historical Credit Usage
It would be helpful to have a feature that allows users to see the historical usage of PandaDoc credits.

True alphabetical order that will be applied both to folders and documents.
If the sort order is set to alphabetical and a file is called "abstract" and a folder is called "business tools" and then a file is called "Clearance".. currently I'll get the folder with the letter "b" (business) first in the list even though a file clearly should be first since it starts with an "a" (abstract). This should not be. It should list them in true alphabetical order. Perhaps some people like the folder vs. true sort order method, but then give a toggle to turn it on and off

Change notification language depending on your role on the document
The language in the notifications a user receives is the same regardless of whether they are a signer or a cc'ed recipient. There is no call to action to sign the document, so they cannot tell if they need to take action or not. I'd like to have a signer receive a message to "please sign the document" or "your signature is required" or something, whereas a cc'ed recipient should receive a message like "you've been cc'ed on a document."

Drag to highlight and select multiple fields at once. Mass edit the selected fields
Use the mouse to mass select multiple fields at once by dragging. Similar to highlight function on your computer. Mass update "required" field settings or change assignment to different person. Multi-clicking takes so much time when you have hundreds of fields in a form.

Update Content from File" for Editable Text Box Templates
Problem Statement: Many of our most important templates were built "natively" in PandaDoc using individual text boxes, not an uploaded file.
Our legal and operations teams frequently send us revised versions of these documents as a new PDF or Word file. When this happens, our only option is to manually:
Open the new PDF and the old PandaDoc template side-by-side.
Read through both to find the differences.
Manually copy the new, updated text from the PDF.
Find the corresponding text box in the PandaDoc template.
Delete the old text and paste in the new text.
This is an extremely slow,…

The ability to apply an expiration date to a form link
It would be convenient to be able to apply an expiration date to a form link, so that they automatically expire after a certain date. For example, I create a form for an event being held on November 21, 2025. The link for this form, as well as any started but not completed responses will automatically expire on November 22, 2025.

Separate timeline on the homepage
Please bring back the timeline on the homepage or offer it as an option for those that want it . The small window now offered is not as easy to scroll through. It was much more visually appealing and easier to quickly assess the most recent activities when permanently on the left side of the home screen. I do not like the new interface at all.

Set Silent parameter at recipient level
Currently it is only possible to set silent = true or false at the document level. There are scenarios where recipient level control is needed, e.g. for embedded signing. If recipient A is embedded signing and recipient B is signing from email, we wouldn't want recipient A to also receive email notifications.
Related to the personal message at recipient level feature request, which is also currently document level only: https://pandadoc.uservoice.com/forums/926629-ideas-to-improve-pandadoc/suggestions/43994823-customize-select-personalize-email-messages-for-mu#comments

API: leave the smart content block in place, and a user can select content from the pre-selected items after the document is generated, befo
You cannot currently create a document via the API and leave the smart content block in a “pending selection” mode (i.e., so the user can later choose from the pre-selected content in the UI) in the exact same way as you can in the Editor. When using the API, you must specify which content library item(s) to insert into each smart content block at the time of document creation, or make the block optional (which means it can be empty in the generated document). The API does not support leaving the smart content block in the same “interactive, user-selectable” state…

Ability to request an on demand notary from a specific state.
Users cannot currently request a notary from a specific state when doing an On Demand session. Certain states, such as Florida require their documents to be notarized only by Florida notaries. Need ability to request a notary for a specific state in this scenario.
