When HubSpot updated merge functionality in Jan 2025 (including Contacts and Companies, refer: https://developers.hubspot.com/changelog/updated-merge-functionality-for-crm-objects-including-contacts-and-companies) it broke the mapping between Contact and Company objects, and their associated PandaDoc documents.
Problem: When a PandaDoc document is created from a HubSpot Contact or Company, the HubSpot Object ID as added to the PandaDoc document metadata. Under the updated HubSpot object merge, Contacts and Companies are allocated a new Object ID.
