  1. The change of moving content center into templates created MANY more clicks to edit content center items. If you have a well organized content center with 3 folders to a specific item, It takes up to 5 clicks to get into it initially, then if you have to edit many items in the same folder the top left hand folder hierarchy (image below) it kicks you ALL the way to the beginning.

    So if I have to edit 5 items in the library in the same folder I have to click content center THEN root folder THEN sub folder THEN…

  2. If the sort order is set to alphabetical and a file is called "abstract" and a folder is called "business tools" and then a file is called "Clearance".. currently I'll get the folder with the letter "b" (business) first in the list even though a file clearly should be first since it starts with an "a" (abstract). This should not be. It should list them in true alphabetical order. Perhaps some people like the folder vs. true sort order method, but then give a toggle to turn it on and off

You cannot currently create a document via the API and leave the smart content block in a “pending selection” mode (i.e., so the user can later choose from the pre-selected content in the UI) in the exact same way as you can in the Editor. When using the API, you must specify which content library item(s) to insert into each smart content block at the time of document creation, or make the block optional (which means it can be empty in the generated document). The API does not support leaving the smart content block in the same “interactive, user-selectable” state…

  6. Natively integrate with Zip procurement tool to compete with DocuSign's native integration supported via Zip.

    Function: Automates the purchase order process by integrating with PandaDoc for e-signatures after internal approvals are collected.

    Workflow: A purchase request is initiated in Zip, routed through necessary teams, and then sent to PandaDoc for the final signature process.

    Allow users to send zipForm documents directly to PandaDoc Rooms for signing and completion.

  7. Currently, when using PandaDoc CPQ within HubSpot, the workflow feature allows users to create a document automatically as part of a defined workflow. However, there is also a separate “Create Document” button that allows team members to bypass the workflow entirely. Add an option to disable/remove or hide the “Create Document” button, so that all document creation must go through the designated workflow.

  9. Client: we want to have TOC to have numbers in front to be reused based on their numbering as paragraph, not pages on the right. We can’t use Auto numbering, because then we can’t have continuation with inner paragraphs like 2.1 2.2 2.3 etc.

  10. At this point, we can pass discount/tax in flat value only from MS Dynamics. Would be great to have an option to pass it in % (if template is set to %).

  14. The current API for populating tables is too restrictive. It requires a rigid, predefined table structure and a payload format that must match that structure exactly. This limitation makes it impossible to send flexible or nested JSON data (e.g., objects, arrays) and have it dynamically populate a table.

  16. Once a Pandadoc document is created from Zoho CRM there is no way to update variables when the content changes in Zoho CRM. Please add a right pane in Pandadoc just as with Hubspot where data in variables can be updated after document creation.

  20. It is possible to add document metadata via API. Some metadata is also added when a document is created via an integration. This metadata is not included in the exported PDF. The feature request is to be able to include this metadata in the exported PDF.
